Walking to Armageddon

Wanderings on the Western Front, then and now. A blog exploring the trinity of traumas experienced by soldiers of the Great War. Modern industrial warfare’s destruction of the body, of civilization, and of the natural world. More to follow in the coming weeks as I walk the British sector of the Western Front between Peronne and Ypres and later as I continue my research in archives and galleries in Canada and the UK before returning to my teaching duties at Albion College in the New Year.
